GUEST SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE (ALL SHIFTS)
Location:  HOUSTON, TX
Job Summary:
The Guest Service Representative (GSR) will help establish and grow Trimark's Fueling Good Market brand. The GSR is responsible for operating the retail store during the assigned shift and utilizing his or her skills to provide an excellent customer experience, including:

Providing fast, friendly, sincere and immediate service to all customers.
Handling transactions in a fast, accurate manner without errors while operating the cash register and credit card equipment to complete sales.
Receiving, storing and stocking inventory.
Keeping shelves, displays and merchandisers full and correctly priced.
Maintaining a clean store facility, inside and outside, at all times.
Full-time Guest Service Representatives must be able to work at least 20 hours per week. Must have a winning attitude and be customer-service focused! Successful candidates are eligible to convert to permanent status and receive health benefits after a minimum of 90 days.

Qualifications
Must have high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year of customer service experience.
Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations at the high school level using units of American money, weight measurement, volume and distance.
Must be able to speak, read, understand and write the English language at the high school level, including simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
Must be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
Must have basic computer skills.
Must be able to resolve job-related problems in a professional manner.
Must have good organizational and time-management capabilities, including the ability to set priorities.

LEAD GUEST SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE

Job Summary:
The position of Lead Guest Service Representative (GSR) is responsible for operating the retail store during the assigned shift, training new employees, ordering product, and managing the store in the absence of the Store Manager and/or Assistant Store Manager. With this, the jobholder is responsible for:

Providing fast, friendly, sincere and immediate service to all customers.
Handling transactions in a fast, accurate manner without errors while operating the cash register and credit card equipment to complete sales.
Receiving, store and stock inventory.
Guest Service Representatives are further responsible for keeping shelves, displays, and merchandisers full and priced correctly.
Maintaining a clean store facility, inside and outside, at all times.
Assist other employees with questions and proper procedure as necessary.
Price, stock, and rotate products, as well as check code dates.
Complete the daily shift checkout and paperwork.
Advise Management of any personnel situations or policy violations.
Effectively administer the New Employee Training Program procedures with every new store employees.
Accurately and on-time complete all daily store paperwork including but not limited to the Daily Closeout Report, Summary Report, and Cashier Report.

RETAIL STORE OPERATOR
Location:  Houston, TX
Job Summary:
The Retail Store Operator is responsible for managing the overall daily operation of a gasoline/convenience store to ensure cost effective and quality store operations. This person will oversee store operations, supervise employees, manage inventories and promote the CITGO brand to our customers and the community. The Retail Store Operator is also accountable for maximizing sales and profits by using sound business practices to implement the CITGO retail strategy. All operational activities must be performed in a manner that is consistent with the company's goal to establish the standards for "Best Practice" in retail operations. Included in this are activities surrounding accounting paperwork and on-line systems data entry and maintenance. As the supervisor of Guest Service Representatives, the Retail Store Operator will function in accordance with the company's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. The position’s suggestions or recommendations are given particular weight when deciding whether to hire, discipline, and fire employees.

Qualifications:
Must have high school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus a minimum of two or more years' retail/food service management experience.

A Bachelor's Degree, typically in Business, may be substituted in lieu of experience.

Required

Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
Great interpersonal — People skills.
Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
Must be available to work a minimum of five (5) days per week.
Willingness and ability to work "on call" in a business that operates 24 hours a day/7 day a week.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Basic computer skills — MS Word, MS Excel

Preferred
Knowledge of inventory software and payroll systems a plus.
Proficiency in the use of PDI systems and Pricebook a plus.
Spanish as a second language a plus.
